Choose a Country

There are several things you should consider before choosing a country to move to. Consider planning a trip to visit the country you are interested in. This way, you can experience the lifestyle and climate before you make any big decisions.

You can choose a country based on the climate, affordability, lifestyle, or all three! Make a list of the qualities you are looking for in your new home country. This will make choosing a destination easier for you.

Apply for Jobs

You can apply for a job through a recruitment agency or directly to the company. A recruitment agency can be helpful with applying for work permits and visas after you apply for a job. Make sure you read the job description in-depth and tailor your resume to the position.

Check that your prospective employer can contact you by providing an email address, phone number, Skype, and WhatsApp. This will show you are available to be contacted for an interview.

Acquire a Visa or Work Permit

Apply for your visa or work permit as soon as you accept the job offer. Visa applications can take a long time to process. Send all the relevant documentation straight away to avoid losing your job abroad.

Your new employer should be able to help with any questions you have about your visa. You can also contact the embassy for the relevant country to find out their rules and regulations surrounding work permits.
