Raghavendra Rajkumar is an actor in the film industry from Karnataka, India. He is the second son of legendary Kannada matinee idol Dr. Rajkumar and an elder brother of late Puneeth Rajkumar, famous superstar of Tamil industry.
Having starred in many Kannada films, he is now actively involved in the production. After the age of 50 He started to produce movies.
Like his father, Raghavendra Rajkumar also sings his own songs in films. His previous films were very good but his popularity is low compared to his brothers Shivaraj Kumar and Puneet Rajkumar.
His parents, Parvathamma and Dr. Rajkumar, are followers of Raghavendra Swami. Raghavendra Rajkumar was given this name for this reason.
He made his film debut as the lead in Chiranjeevi Sudhakar (1988) before appearing in the 1989 hit film Nanjundi Kalyana.
His last notable film was Upendra’s Swasthik (1998), a box office flop. He played the lead role in Pakkadmane Hudugi (2004) before taking a 15-year Absent from acting. Since then Raghavendra has produced TV series under Poornima Productions and films under Sri Vajreshwari Combines.
